This is my kit list for the Pilgrims’ Way which I walked in October 2020. The weather was changeable, freezing some mornings and warm in the afternoons and very wet on the last day. I carried all my own gear. This is me setting off from Bath so you can see the size of the pack.
Backpack: Osprey Aura AG 50
Warm beanie hat and peaked cap for sunny days
Sunglasses
Neck warmer (also keeps ears protected in the wind)
Face masks (for wearing in shops and hotels and built-up areas)
Clothes
T-shirts x 7 (+ wear one)
Long-sleeved polyprop layer
Medium fleece top x 2 (wear one) – based on checked weather conditions
Heavier fleece top (in the picture above)
Walking trousers x 2
Jeans x 1 (wear them to travel and in the evenings)
Walking socks x 8 + one pair of waterproof socks (which I really appreciated)
Socks for trainers x 3
Walking shoes (well worn in, seen in the picture above)
Trainers (wear them for travel and evenings)

Paper print out of accommodation with all details of the route. I also sent this to my husband and my mum as a safety precaution.
